In the second quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications in Qatar showcased interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides valuable insights into the app market performance.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a steady range of weekly downloads, starting at around 4K in early April and peaking at approximately 5.5K in mid-June. Throughout the quarter, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 200K mark.

Google Maps Go saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 3.4K in April and reaching nearly 4.9K by the end of June. The app maintained a healthy number of weekly active users, ranging from 241K to 258K over the quarter.

Google Earth showed varied weekly download numbers, with a notable peak of 2.8K in late April. Active users also fluctuated, reaching a high of nearly 10K in mid-April before settling around the 6K mark by the end of June.

MapXplorer: Navigation, Radar exhibited an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting at 512 in early April and peaking at 1.7K in early May.
